Final Destination - Haldipur - Gokarna to Honavar

 

The entire group after the big challenge assembled at Haldipur beach " Every challenge is a new discovery" " Every discovery is new learning " So atlast we are here to enjoy the trek. We reached the haldipur beach at 4.30 PM and we had enough time to have fun.

 

The pain we had washed away by the waves that touched our foot. We are just Offspring gliding along the coast Exploring new boundaries of life. The beauty lies in the heart of the coast line which was not explored by humans.........

 

People were playing beach Kapadi and at the end we all got in to the sea and had good fun. Bangalore Ascenders played vital role in completing the trek successfully, it was my 2 trek with the club and I enjoyed the trek.

 

Destination : Gokarna to Honavar along Karnataka coast Line.
Nearest place: Bangalore & Goa.
Distance : From Bangalore 500 km ( Tumkur, Tiptur, Kadur, Shimoga, Sagar, Honavar) by road.
Transport : VRL transport best and affordable from bangalore.

Ramagandi Beach - Gokarna to Honavar - The group came across a challenge

 

We had good rest in the Fisher man's Home and we started to move towards Ramagandi beach, The entrance to the Coast is challenged by a big mountain and Local state no proper path way that connect the other side of the coast.

 

The group started climbing the rocks of the mountain; it was typically a rock climbing with out any gears.We reached the Middle point of the Mountain; there was two route which got split-ed and the 3 people who climbed the top, asking to come to the top. As we were climbing the rocks, we heard the noise from the below they have found alternative route.

 

Asking us to come back, we did the same thing as stated and he followed the Sea Side route to get in to the other side of the coast.The 3 people who went ahead of us, got stuck on top of the Mountain and No way down,(Rafi & Sreedhar & Suneel Kumar got stuck on top). You can see in the below picture how sea was so rough with rock facing even single slip from the top can cause death to the life of fellow members.

 

My self and few other reach the other side Ramagandi beach, We saw these guys on top with out no pathway down to the shore. The mountain was covered with red thin sand which always slippery to all the people who climb down or Up. Few local who were living helped us to to guide the other people to safe place. Even that route was so tough, after having such difficulties 3 people reached the shore after 2 hours.

Dhareswar Beach - Gokarna to Honavar

As started walking, we found Sea gulls in the beach flying in group............ woooow what marvelous view.

 

 

The beach view was spell bound , as the wind was blowing from one end. From this stage i started to feel the pain of my calf muscles and it was little difficult to walk. The heart was filled with joy and the mind was searching for resting place to keep ourselves at the bay.

 

We reached the end point of Dhareswar beach, the Group was splitted in to two.
The Slow walking people was backed by Rafi and Sreedhar as Sleepers. We took rest in fisher man house, just asking for some water. Later in the stage, we used his Home to cook the after noon lunch. The entire group was exhausted , mean while my self and fellow members used the use the nature resource water took bath it was so refereshing all the heat was drained and had good MTR packed food.

Kumta beach -- Gokarna to Honavar Beach Trek...

 

We entred the beautiful paradise on the second day of the trek.......It was white sand beach.
i never seen such beautiful beach in my life time, no people around you ......

 

We reach a place where the river Join the See, it is 50 meter distance between one shore to the other shore. We asked the boat man to pick up and drop us on the other. No one had helped us....... The way out was to go inside the village and come to the other side. It was sunday and the entire village was busy with lot activities. The lassi & coconut drink was awesome.
Atlast after 1 Hr walk we got in to the other siude of the shore.

 

By this time, people were tired we took some rest along the sea shore and started walking. Time was 11.00 AM, We did not feel that much sun heat. It was quiet Humid with some amount of wind blowing.............

 

Vanamali beach - Second Day - Beach Trek

 

The beach which you are seeing in the above picture should be visited on Full moon day, Awesome place to be so Silent. The Curve of the coast line took us suprisly..............

 

We are Stunned by the View~~~~~~~~Never in my life i seen such beautiful beaches in India..........

Manghodlu beach

 

The Second day trek of Gokarna to Honavar had taken the Toll, Few of the memeber denied to come the entire trek and stated they will join us in the Sangam Beach.

 

It was bright and Sunny day out there, Sea was so calm and breeze was blowing....... With each steps of washing aways with beautiful waves.

 

We started the Walk from Manghodhu Beach covering 5 kms & entered the beautiful coast line come across on the Second day............
