We acutally wanted stay for while as time was running we had to rush back to the base, the group was walking down and you can see them in the picture.....

 

The Climb & Decent of Mt Bramagiri Peak

 

It was bright and Sunny day, we had got up at 6.00 Am and sunrise in the middle station was awesome. The guide soon told us to get ready as we need to go to the final destination Bramagiri peak. He had cautioned us " To many leeches and path way covered & one more thing while you walk, he asked to be slient as we shall be lucky to spot elephants. We had split in two group people started walking, we soon spotted a group a group of elephants enjoyed the view of the group.

 

1 hr walk through the beautiful grass lands we reached the final Destination bramagiri peak, guide stopped in the foot hills and he asked us to climb the mountain and safely come back.

 

After slipping down slowly walking up we reached the mountain top, " Bramagiri" The view was awesome and mind blowing~~ the grasss beds covered with land that slips in to the beauty of the Nature

Bramagiri - Beauty from the Inner Heart

It was long time dream to visit Bramagiri, so i started networking looking out which group of community travel to this beautiful place. I came across bangalore Ascenders, as they were new to me, just was waiting for the perfect timing to travel to the beautiful place. I visited the place in 18th to 19th September 10. The trip started with visiting irrupu falls as we did not have time as we started late in the morning our destination was the state owned guest house. It is 5 Kms from Irrupu falls with fill of grass lands and Ups and down with both sides of the grass land surrounded with Violet flowers. The entrance to the guest house you have bridge, it a wooden logs rol down naturally, 4 feet down depth is there with water following down. We reached the guest house. We were asked remove our shoes see for leeches, " From Base camp to the Middle station every were you can find them". The Narimala guest is blood donation camp to the Leeches......... Quickly we had Lunch and our guide said we have close by Mountain where you get nice view of the clouds touching you.By the time we started walking it was 4.00 PM, the path covered with lot of grass lands with slushy water each and every step we found Leeches, despite that hurdle we were able to reach the place what you see in this video..............below



Next day morning we got up early and we wanted to the actual view of the bramagiri peak, The above video has the Key to the answer, what beautiful view...........

The group was stopping to take small nap~~ while i engaged myself with shots. I came came across the beautiful voilet flowers which was found in path ways of the grass Lands

 

No words to describe~ still fresh in my mind~ Guide stated we where 2 kms shot of the destination Narimala guest House.

The Bridge - Connects Irrupu falls

 

After reaching Kutta, Irrupu falls is 0.5kms and it was reached with ease since we were late, the group decide to take bath while returning back as we need to climb the 5 Kms to reach the Narimala guest House owned by Karnataka. The guide who lead us the way was so calm & composed while rafi and others where coming slow pushing the slow walking people.

 

 

We stopped in between and waited for others to Join the guide always cautioned us , as multiple path ways are found and people get lost if they do not follow the people going in the front.

 

Bramagiri ~~ Heaven On Earth

 

Bramagiri Trek - Elevation 1,608 m (5,276 ft), Location Karnataka-Kerala border, India Range : Western Ghats. Discription : is a mountain range in the Western Ghats of south India. It is situated on the border between Kodagu district in Karnataka state in the north and Wayanad district of Kerala state on the south . Brahmagiri Hill, at 1608 m height, is a scenic tourist attraction. The top of Brahmagiri Hill is well forested and has a lot of wildlife. Thirunelli Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, lies on the Kerala side of Brahmagiri. This temple is known as Dakshina Kasi or the Kasi of the South. The temple was constructed in an ancient style and includes 30 granite pillars. According to legend, the temple was constructed by Lord Brahma himself.Pakshipathalam at an altitude of 1740 m is another attraction on the Kerala side. Pakshipathalam has a cave that is said to have been used by rishis in ancient times.

 

We reached Srimangala at 7.00 AM which was late but had time to do all morning work, our travel to that place is for the 1st time by the entire team. The village with Total greenish, I started roaming around the back yard of the srimangal , these shots came lively.
